    Description

    WWI Imperial German o.s. 98/05 Butcher Bayonet by Simson & Co Suhl 1915. The bayonet is in good condition. The blade measures 14.5 inches. On the ricasso is the maker's mark, Simson & Co, Suhl, Germany. The wooden grips are in good shape. There are imperial German proof marks all over the bayonet and the crown over W = Kaiser Wilheim II of Germany (reigned 1888-1918). It is dated on the spine, 15 = 1915. The bayonet lug and release button works.
