WW1 M1898/1905 98/05 NA Bayonet J.H. Becker.
Nice and rare WW1 M1898/1905 “Saw back” 2nd Model Bayonet made by J.H. Becker of Solingen, a very uncommon manufacturer. The blade is in used but over nice condition with wear from the scabbard. The Sawback is intact with minimal signs of wear. The hilt has some slight patina and the grip panels show sign of wear but intact otherwise. Locking button is a bit stiff but functional.
The metal scabbard has some slight surface rust and a few dents but structurally sound with no pitting. Scabbard is marked “ Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. Obendorf”
