Wonderful 1800s Antique Polish Silver Cup Classical Engravings 2 1/2 in tall
Presented is a wonderful Polish silver cup or vodka cup with classical engravings. Likely made between 1850-1915, this piece displays lovely engraved scrolls and cityscapes.
This cup is marked using the Russian zolotnik system. The piece is marked 84 to represent approximately .875 purity silver. There is also an eagle mark, likely the Polish common control mark and the maker's mark, JAG, for JA Goldman. The maker's mark may also include the elephant mark on the far left.
The piece is in great condition. The engraved details are neat and sharp. The interior of the cup is clean, ready for use. There are no monograms and no monogram removals. There are no breaks, no dents, no splits, and no repairs.
