Vintage sterling silver pedestal sugar basket made in Palermo, Italy by Frisella Vella Giovanni, who was in business from 1935 through 1955/71(?).  It measures 9" wide by 7" deep by about 8-1/2" tall at the handle.  It is a simple design with a beaded edge that will match with just about any other silver pattern.  This piece weighs 281 grams (180 dwt), or 10 ounces.  Marked "[star] 16 PA" and 925.
