Whether you’re a serious player or just want to have fun, the Voit Tetherball is the ideal centerpiece for your game. Serve it up and let the fun begin! The exterior of the ball features a durable composition cover which outlasts the competition. It’s constructed with nylon windings and a two-ply heavy duty bladder for greater air retention. The bladder is made of butyl rubber which provides a tough, airtight inner compartment. This helps the Voit Tetherball keep its shape.
Butyl rubber is impermeable to air. It is used in many industrial applications requiring airtight rubber.
A tetherball pole is ten-feet tall and two inches in diameter. The pole is typically made from steel.
The distance between the hanging ball and the ground should be about 2 feet.
A ten foot circle around the pole marks the boundaries.
The first serve is decided by a coin flip.
