    . Letter dated December 15, 1849 reports fever deaths “I must inform you that the fever has been here this fall. Frederick Friedken’s son lost his wife and left five small children. Cosen (sic) Sally Ewings son John died with the fever. There is no cases of the fever now nearer than town.” Light soiling, age toned and small stains. Interesting content.
