Description

Short-action 4-valve euphonium by Rudall-Carte.
- Excellent player.
- Tunes to modern pitch.
- Valves are in nice condition and have good compression (see last 2 pics).
- Tri-bore design; 4th valve has the largest bore (see last 2 pics).
- Intonation is not bad for 1920; slightly sharp in the 2nd octave. Intonation is manageable with alt fingerings, slight lipping, or slides.
Ready to play - let me know if you need a mouthpiece (takes normal tenor-shank mpc).
Condition.
There are green water stains. These can be polished away with Brasso polish and lots of patience. Brass underneath is in good condition. Euphonium is ready-to-play. Valves work well, piston plating is in excellent condition (see last 2 pics). All slides are free.
