Vintage Italian 800 Silver Cyrano de Bergerac Figurine 413 g Bausi Bruno 1949-68

Description

Just out of a local smoke free house is this fine Mid Century solid 800 silver figurine of Cyrano de Bergerac on an onyx base. It depicts Cyrano in grand attire lifting a feather to his face while looking up. The figurine has the 800 silver mark and the Italian makers mark of 8 FI. This mark is listed as the workshop of Bausi Bruno of Firenze Italy. The marks correspond to those used from 1949-1968. The silver figurine was removed from the base to determine the weight of the silver. The figurine weighs about 413 grams or about 13.28 ounces. We do not know if the threaded bolts on the figure are silver. It was then reinstalled on its onyx base. The figurine on its base measures about 8 inches tall, about 2 3/4 inches wide, and about 3 1/8 inches deep. The silver figure and base are in excellent condition.
