C.1935 Vintage Italian 800 Solid Silver Ice Bucket
or Bonbon/Sugar Bowl with gorgeous Cherub decoration. When it comes to angel or cherub motif decoration, Italy is one of the best creators - if not the best. This lovely Ice Bucket showcases its great artistry and craftsmanship with its unique design and fine execution. The form of pot is inspired by Chinese style, it stands on four casted feet and covered by a large lid with top figural finial. Raised cherub's faces and floral swags on textured background. Top of the lid is embellished with a cherub figurine  finial standing on grapevines. Excellent condition.
Hallmarked Italian 800 mark in oval circle, which guaranteed 800/1000 purity solid silver. Maker's mark 3VC for Castaudi & Gautero di Emanuelli & Pastore, via Restano 6/8, Vercelli, active 1935-1971.

Excellent Estate Condition
