VINTAGE 1981 SANYO SPORTSTER M6060 CASSETE PLAYER

Description

Remember "Bag Phones"? Walkman?
Well this Sanyo is right in the era. I think it is a M6060 built around 1981. Heavy construction, lighted (LED) direction arrows, adjustable speed control, used (4)AA batteries or 6 V external power. (I have a wall wort included that works fine). No batteries included.
Controls are, L/R volume, speed adjustment, rewind, fast forward, channel switching, metal or std . tape, tone button, and eject.
Standard mini stereo plug for headphones, NO internal speaker. No headphone included.
Comes with the carry bag with a zippered pouch.This protected the case so it is in good condition except minor pitting on the silver buttons.
Plays well, great volume, there is a slight distortion in one channel, but new electrolytic caps probably will clear that up. There was zero oxide in battery compartment.
Cool, retro white with blue stripes, a real stunning piece of kit.
