    Description

    For sale is an old Northern European silver teaspoon, dated 1854.  The spoon is 5 7/8 inches long and weighs 12 grams.  The spoon has a pointed bowl with a swaged drop and a downturned rounded handle.  It has a pricked monogram of “A.C.A.” and a date of “1854” on the handle back.  It is marked [Wilhelmi] or something like it in a rectangle.  It may be the work of a German or Norwegian immigrant.


    Condition on the spoon is fair.  The bowl is dented and worn at the tip and the handle is quite wavy.  It has considerable wear from use.  Still an interesting old silver spoon!
