    Description

Up for sale is this cool trade card of a gambler bluffing with a pistol in his hand. Or maybe he is made at the guy who just took down the hand with a bluff? This tradecard was issued by The Famous One-Price Clothing House that was located at 27 & 29 Main Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan. I think the street has been renumbered since then, but not certain. I don't know what is there now.
There is also the rubber stamp of a Mrs. Ellen Pendorf, 1117 West Huron, Ann Arbor, Michigan.  That is the ugly Huron Flats building now. I'm not sure why here name is on here. I don't get any impression that she worked there. The Famous One-Price Clothing House belonged to a Dutch Jew named Moses Simon.
This tradecard measures 3 7/8" by 4 1/2". The corners are rounded and the edges have wear.
