The Tempest Bb Euphonium is a truly remarkable performance instrument. It offers the professional level player a high-performance instrument to meet their playing needs. Developed with some of the world’s finest soloists, this Euphonium makes sure all musical messages communicate to the audience. Tuba/Euphonium player, Lee Hipp, of the San Antonio Symphony went wild over this incredible instrument.
Four hand-lapped piston valves and slides ensure a perfect fit and seal between the valve pistons and casing or slide parts. Such a perfect fit achieves a smooth airflow and smooth action and improves the response and intonation of the instrument.
The .570 bore allows for a taper that produces a design for superior intonation. The 11-inch upright bell is more responsive, and the use of hand hammered high content copper in the brass makes sure that this instrument will last a lifetime. There is also generous use of nickel silver slide tubes throughout the instrument.
The Tempest Euphonium comes with a 5-year warranty. It is supplied in a beautiful hard case with a Large shank custom mouthpiece.
