This is a highly sculptural, solid silver candlestick consisting of Floral Ornamentation and Leaves,
Scalloped Shells, a
nd Acanthus Leaves, all on a t
hree scroll-footed base.
Very popular in the Austro-Hungarian Empire during this era, the style is known as
Historicism
,
which is similar to High Victorian, or Napoleon III.

Dimensions:
3 1/2" tall with a 3 1/2" diameter table and a base of 4" (from foot to foot).

on the top of this candlestick
for different sized candles
!
The smaller (and slightly deeper) indentation will hold a candle up to
1 1/8" in diameter.
The larger indentation will hold a
candle up to 2 1/4" diameter.
Of course, an even
larger candle (of up to a
3 1/2" diameter) will also fit on its table.
Condition:
Very Good with minor surface scratches & a few small spots on table (which, one of the larger candle sizes will cover).
The base of this beautiful piece is in near mint condition.
