Silver Pyx Without Lid, 17th Century

Description

Piece made in silver (with the interior gilded) that shows a circular base elevated in two levels by smooth moldings and a grooved foot that leads into the container area, which is decorated on the outside with ribbons that hang from rings (this engraved composition is highlighted by two thin and smooth moldings). Typologically, it follows one of the most common shapes for this type of liturgical objects, with decorative elements of classicist influence and lines that are also seen in the Baroque Art.
