    Description

Very Rare WWI or earlier Garde du corp officers lion head sword no scabbard I also have an officers Helmet listed in a separate auction . The blade has a slight wave about 1/2 way down the blade but barely noticeable. The handle is nice and tight and the grip and guard are also tight. I have decided to retire and will be selling off a bunch of my collections I have collected many WILD things over the years . Some I cannot sell on ebay like my 12" silver tray with A  H  with EAGLE AND HIS SPECIAL MONOGRAM taken from Berchtesgarden by 1'st lt d.c Watts who was in the 506 th pir 101st airborn inf. 8 are know in museums this is a 9'th and maybe the only one in private hands (not cheap). I got it from the family may years ago . I am afraid to clean it as it is covered with finger prints . Who knows. I also have a 3/4 of a tail section of an ME 109 that was shot down in the Netherlands and is being restored by a collector in Texas
