Rare, Lion's Head Model 1892 Bavarian Seitengewehr Artillery Short Sword
At offer is a beautiful & Rare, Lion's Head Model 1892 Bavarian Seitengewehr Artillery Short Sword. It is mounted with a yataghan shaped blade that measures approximately18 3/8 inches in length that remains in very good condition with only some minor surface staining and wears the date "93" on the spine. There are nice regimental markings on the cross guard and the top of the scabbard which read "A.M. II.2.6."
The scabbard has some stitching broken and it is missing the mouth piece.
