RARE ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN GREEN STONE NEPHRITE JADE STERLING KNIVES SPOON LOT OF 3

Description

3 piece estate collection of jade handled cutlery. The longest is a caviar(?) knife with a black stone handle, and the mark “STERLING SILVER” in an arch across the reverse. The most elaborate is a butter knife with richly engraved details on the obverse of the scimitar-shaped blade and the handle collar. It has tiny apparent British Sterling marks on the reverse as well as letters identify the maker. The last piece is a jelly spoon with a pretty green handle and a soldered repair in the shank, as would only have been undertaken on a valuable item. It also has the words “STERLING SILVER” in an arch on the reverse of the bowl.
Clean and from a smoke-free environment. The hints of authentic age may be seen in the photographs, please consider them part of the description.
