The blade is bright
, with near flawless plating, and slight pull/scabbard marks on the blade's shoulders, (no makers marks).
Traditional wood grips, wrapped with ray skin, wound w/ wire and cord. Exposed layers, w/a few broken wires, tell the story!
Half-basket guard
, with outstanding copper/brown patina and the King's Cypher for Kaiser Wilhelm II (Reigned 1888-1918).
Cloth/leather finger loop survives inside guard, very tattered. Butt of the Pommel is engraved with the Gothic initials

, no dents, speckled with rusty 'pops' and flaking remains of chrome.
