OLD ITALIAN ANTIQUE SILVER CENTERPIECE BAROQUE SATYR WOMAN SEASHELLS 800 FINE
A magnificent centerpiece featuring mythological cast figures set upon an enormous seashell, hand wrought, aesthetic revival, baroque, the shell mounted with a cast Satyr approaching a woman pouring wine into the shell It is set upon three large cast conical shell feet The shell is clearly marked with 1930’s to 1950’s Italian stamps including an 800 fine silver designation and “M” Milan Italy marks Each cast figure is also fully hallmarked Each figure is mounted in two places utilizing threaded bolts and ball shaped nuts These have been reinforced by a solid epoxy, the threads stripped long ago
This is very heavy and will require double oversized boxing The shipping cost is 00 including double boxing and insurance coverage
Measurements 18” x 17” figure stands about 7” high from the table top
