    Description

For sale is a boxed set of eight Portuguese 833 silver coffee spoons and a sugar spoon in a monogrammed case. The sugar spoon is 5 ¼ inches long, the coffee spoons are 4 1/8 inches long, and together they weigh 164 grams.  The handles have an architectural style with draped leaves.  The spoons are monogrammed “EAL”, and there is a matching applied silver monogram on the box lid.  The coffee spoons are marked inside the bowl with a Portuguese 833 silver standard mark and another mark that looks like pretzel.  The spoons come in their original blue paper box with white satin and blue velvet lining.  There is an indistinct label in the corner of the lid, and there is an applied silver monogram on the top as noted.
Condition on the spoons is fairly good.  There is some stubborn tarnish and normal wear from use.  The box has some discoloration and wear as shown.  An interesting set of spoons. 2-3 pounds
