    Description

Model 1855 Bavarian Officer's sword from around WWI. In Treue Fest is etched on both sides. 32.5” Blade has some rust spots. Made by Alex Coppel in Solimgen. There’s a slight curve to the blade, so I suspect it belongs to a cavalry officer. The blade and tip are still quite sharp. No handle, guard or pommel. Comes with the 34” scabbard, but have to push the blade after about hard way so it goes in. The scabbard has rust, little rust putting and one rust hole. Blade and the scabbard are marked II.
