    Description

    This is an authentic, rare (most likely 19th century) Meissen knife rest. Crossed swords from Electoral Saxon arms marking on the bottom. In great condition, as it was received. Approximately 3 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 2 inches high. Please check pictures before bidding. Received as a gift many years ago (when I was a knife rest collector and antiques dealer). Because it is rare, it was displayed and never used. From a home without pets, smoking, or children.
