It takes between one to two weeks for me to make and send a belt. Please be patient with me; I couldn't find a longer handling time on the ebay settings.
I am selling long DPNs in my Etsy shop, BobnWeave. Also, you can find videos and more information at www.knitting-belts.com

A knitting belt allows you to knit faster and with less stress on the hands and wrists. It also makes Fair Isle and intarsia knitting much easier because you have more control over the yarn without holding the right needle.
To use a knitting belt: strap the belt to your thigh (or around your waist) so that the holes are facing up. Insert a double-pointed needle into one of the holes. It may take some practice to get a comfortable angle figured out, but once you do, the belt will hold your needle for you! Multiple holes allow you to use different sizes of needles, and if you position the belt on your thigh differently, you can use varying lengths of DPNs. I would recommend needles no shorter than 10” for maximum comfort; you shouldn't be hunched over your knitting.
A knitting belt was traditionally worn around the waist in the Shetland Islands because people would walk and knit. Since I don't know of any Americans who walk and knit, I'm making them for use around the thigh with a buckle and belt extension that would allow you to put it around your waist.
Many of the great masterpiece knitting projects such as Shetland wedding ring lace shawls, Aran sweaters, and British fishermans’ ganseys were traditionally knit using gansey needles with a knitting sheath.
Knitting belts allow people with arthritis, tendinitis, repetitive thumb injuries and other disabilities to knit more easily because gripping the right needle can be painful.
I started using a knitting belt and long double-pointed needles (DPNs) because I have thumb tendinitis and wanted to tackle some circular knitting projects that I wouldn't have been able to do with traditional circular needles.

Here is more information about sizing:
Here's how to size the knitting belt with the extension. Put the knitting belt on your thigh, noting which holes are comfortable when wrapped around only once. Then, attach the extension belt at the comfortable thigh hole and try it on your waist. Be sure that you're buckling the belt extension to the knitting belt (as you'll now essentially have two belts hanging there). When positioned, the pouch should be more or less over your hip. When you're comfortable with the length of both the thigh and the waist extension, you could cut the leather strap to size. Certainly, you don't have to cut the leather strap, but when you have it exactly the way you want it, you won't have to deal with any long ends flopping around.
I know this is a little hard to explain in text, but should make sense when you get it and play around with the two pieces. I know that you will love this belt and extension!
Shipping overseas is available, but I will need your shipping information and quantity desired so I can get a quotation from the Post Office.
