Italian Egg Coddler Cup Brandimarte Di Guscelli Passeri 800 Silver
Vintage Italian 800 standard silver egg warmer or coddler cup, having footed body with dome lid and egg holder. Lid and holder have wooden parts. Made by Brandimarte di Guscelli & Passeri, Florence.
This great cup is 2 3/16" in diameter and 1 5/8" deep, 2 5/8" in base diameter, total height (without the finial) is 4 1/2". It weighs 110.6 grams or 3.5 ozs Troy. Egg holder is 4 1/2" long and 1 7/8" in diameter (internal 1 5/8").
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
