German ww1 Trench Knife

Description

This is a listing for an original German ww1 Trench Knife. This piece of history served with the German Heer for God and Country in the first large scale modern war, providing the German troops with a close-and-personal method of combating the enemy forces in the trenches. This particular piece comes with its scabbard, with the leather belt loop being intact. The blade retains its edge very well, and its structure is sturdy. The scabbard is also very structurally fit, but it’s leather strap is old, and is cracked lightly, but retains much strength; I recommend to be careful with it just to be sure. The leather is supple, and the metal is aged, but still clean.
