An exceptional, fine and impressive antique German silver and glass jar; an addition to our diverse range of continental silverware
This exceptional antique German 800 standard silver box has a circular shaped form.
The jar is fitted with a push fit silver cover realistically modelled in the form of a stemmed apple.
The antique glass body of the jar has a subtly panelled form and is ornamented with cut glass decoration in a geometric design, in addition to a star cut motif to the underside.
The upper rim of the jar is fitted with a hallmarked silver mount.
The hallmarks struck to the surface of the antique silver mount include:
