German officer sword scabbard (#3)

Description

WWI German officer's sword scabbard. 38-1/2" overall, throat about 0.94" x 0.26" as measured about 1/2" into the scabbard. Curvature about 1.24" out of straight at maximum. Suspension ring and throat piece present, some original black paint overall with extensive small flaking showing brown patina. Lower part of scabbard is dented and bent.
