    Description

    This is a rare German sawtooth bayonet from the WWI era. The blade measures 9 1/2 inches, the handle 5 inches. The scabbard measures 10 1/2 inches, the overall length is 16 inches. The scabbard is apparently not original to the blade. The knife may have been cut down of a longer Mauser WW1 bayonet by prior owner. The blade looks to be in good shape, the handle and scabbard have surface rust.
