Presented is a wonderful quality Austrian silver cup. This piece dates to 1854. The cup is done in an attractive and simple style, with a bulbous body and a flared mouth. The exterior of the cup has a bright mirror finish. The interior is clean and completely ready for use. There is a monogram to the exterior of 'F.W' in Gothic script.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The cup is hallmarked on the side with an Austrian mark guaranteeing 800 purity silver and dating the piece to the year 1854. The other mark is presumably a maker's mark, looks like 'M&K'.
The cup stands approximately 3 1/8 inches tall.
This piece weighs 96 grams or 3.3 regular ounces.
