Crafted in Germany ca-1900, this fine basket features fine repousse, piercing and chasing work. It meas. approx. 9 1/2" in length by 7 1/2" in width and 1 1/2" in height. It is crafted of a thick gauge of silver, weighing in at 264 grams. This gorgeous basket is in great estate condition with no monos or removals and all patina is intact. It features finely detailed carvings of putti frolicking in a meadow. This is a beautiful piece of high quality German silver and highly collectible.
