Elaborate APOLLO Studios Ruby Rhinestone Decorated Dresser or Powder Box Jar

Description

This auction is for a gorgeous, very elaborately decorated, embossed and openwork metal signed Apollo (for Apollo Studios) "jeweled" powder or vanity box.  The original glass liner is intact and undamaged.  The entire metal surface on the sides and the top is decorated with scrolls, flowers, and leaves, with a raised metal flower in the center of the top, set with a large faceted ruby red rhinestone.  There is some patina or slight darkening to the metal on the lid from age and use.  Nothing major, please see photo.  The metal is brass and the box measures a bit over 5" from side to side and and about 2 1/2" in height.  The edge has a "ball" design with a rope type design on the interior rim.  No missing stones or dents that I can see anywhere.

If an item is damaged in shipment or there are any condition issues that I missed, please send me a note and a photograph.  No returns will be accepted without a photograph.   We will not accept returns because an item "does not fit" or because the buyer "changed their mind".
We only ship our jewelry in a box, so be sure to check out our other listings and our eBay store items (over 1950, all on sale).  Several pieces of jewelry will ship for the same price as one piece, or jewelry can ship with larger pieces at no extra cost.  We don’t mark up our items by a great amount, so reasonable offers only please. We will only ship eBay global shipping to China, Italy, Russia and Australia due to the loss of many items in the past.
