    Description

    A Dutch solid silver structure "monkey spoon".
    An oval and bowl with a short and scroll-form stem
    which ending with a hook for hanging.
    The bowl interior decorated with embossed
    a little town landscape, peasants and cows.
    Stem decorated with applied crowned and pierced vacant cartouche.
    Terminal decorated with a rampant lion.

    Not monogrammed.
    Marked to the stem underside:
    makers "mark" into a square punch with unclear letters and numbers;
    "Dolphin/Fish" mark for .833/1000 silver purity,
    (mark used ca1859-1893).
    Made in Holland/Netherlands, second half of the 19th. Century.
