DIVINE Solid silver pill / snuff box made in Switzerland circa 1900. The lid is adorned with Roses and leaves in high relief. It has an enamelled shield to the front and an inscription made many years later ‘Centenario 1830 - 1930’. The lateral panel is decorated with a garland of laurel leaves,  little berries and attractive swirling ribbons. The hinge mechanism is perfect. It has perfect gilding to the interior ‘Vermeil’. Hallmarked to the lid edge ‘Coq de Bruyère’ (Grouse), ‘0,800’, ‘ACHEF’ and the initials of the silversmith inside a cartouche ‘H (heart) F’...signed ‘Huguenin’ at the lid (difficult to read). The silverwork is in excellent antique condition. MEASUREMENTS: 1 7/8” square by 11/16” thick, it weighs 38 grams.
