drinking cup or beaker made by the famous silversmith and leading Art Deco designer
Cornelis L. J. Begeer

Utrecht
in
1910
for his company
Stichtse Fabriek van Zilverwerken
. It is marked to the base with his maker's mark of a B with two stars, the date letter C for 1910, and Dutch marks for 833 silver and the Utrecht assay office. Of a classically simple design, the beaker flares slightly towards a double rim at the lip above a floral band of four leafed clover three quarters of the way up. It is engraved in script to one side "E N C M 10 Sept 1912". This beautiful item remains in
very good antique condition
, with age-appropriate wear (see condition description). A very special find!
