    Description

    c1900s-1930s Heavy European 800 Silver Serving Tray
    Presented is a fabulous European silver serving tray. This piece dates to the
    early 1900s, around the 1900s-1930s. We don't know the exact origin of the tray,
    but it's certainly continental European. The tray has a beautiful heavy beaded
    edge and leaf form handles. The tray is quite heavy and well constructed, made
    from thick, heavy gauge silver.
    This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents,
    no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    The tray is hallmarked on the underside with a maker's mark of an R inside a
    larger R, and a purity mark of 800 beneath the letter A.
    The tray has approximate dimensions of 23 3/4 by 14 1/8 inches. The interior,
    useable surface area of the tray measures about 16 1/2 by 12 inches.
    The tray weighs 1724 grams or 60.8 regular ounces.
