The .833 standard of silver is often referred to as Continental Silver.

The set consists of one tea caddy spoon, one sugar spoon, and six demitasse spoons.
Each piece is fully hallmarked to include a maker’s mark, lion passant with a ‘2’ for silver standard .833, the Minerva head is the duty mark, and the date mark for 1897.
