    Description

Presented is a neat silver two-handled urn or pot done in the old Spanish Colonial style. The smooth, round-bodied underside contrasts nicely with the decorated, hand chased top. The top has a winged man with a feathered headdress and painted face. The cast handles have dangling rings with very pretty decorations. This was done between 1930-1960s, very likely in Columbia.
The piece is marked 900 on the underside for 900 purity silver. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 900 silver.
The condition is excellent. The rim of the urn has a seam line that was done in the making and is not a defect. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The urn measures 6 1/4 inches across the handles and 4 1/4 inches tall.
The weight is 12.97 ounces or 367.7 grams.
