    NOTE:
    Spoon is resting in the Original Case which appears to be a Casket W/ a Hook Clasp for Closure, which is in Age appropriate condition
    This appears to be a Mourning Spoon from Germany in the year 1845.
    I believe the Translation may be---- The 12th March 1845
    I have NOT polished this and leave that up the new owner since they may want to preserve any patina
