Hallmarked CPO SILVER 990 TOYOKOKI
Tamper in cap measures 2 15/16" long (approx. 3") x 12 mm diameter on base, total weighs 20.1 grams
990 is the Japanese silver mark for 99% pure silver content
Very good condition
Toyokoki was a Japanese designer. A reference to Toyokoki jewelry says;
"A vintage Japanese designer whose work was comparable to Tiffany and other top American vintage designers of the time."
The CPO ( chief purchasing order) mark was applied to any precious metals, antiques or art work, exported from Japan, during WWII and shortly after.
