Antique Tea Caddy Spoon - repousee scene of a lady, a tree, a ship and a house in a wavy/scalloped edge oval shaped bowl, marked: lion and a tiny ‘2’ in a polygon with a key mark and AB over 34 in a square measures 4 3/4” L with a 1 5/8” x 2 3/8” bowl. The 2 indicates it is .833 silver. The ‘AB34’ tells us it is Ate de Groot Boersma from Sneek, Netherlands. The key mark, used 1853 - 1953, tells us it was made for export.
Condition is fairly good - no dings, no dents, nothing bent, minor surface wear, nice, needs a bit of polishing.
