Antique Miniature Novelty Box, Dutch .833 Silver

This listing is for a lovely antique novelty flip-top box container of Dutch origin. This box has an elongated shape more narrow at the narrow part with the ring and widening as it approaches the flip-top lid. The hinge is tight and the box opens and closes correctly. Marked on the inside top rim with the Dutch hallmark stamp which guarantees the silver to be a minimum of .833 or more. Also marked with illegible maker's trademark stamp.
Measures 3 1/2" long (not including hanging ring), 3/4" in diameter (at widest end) and 3/8" in diameter (at narrow end). Weighs 25 grams.
This nice box is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
