Antique Large Russian Silver Filigree Basket, Hallmarked, c. 1850 poss. Latvia

Offered for sale is a wonderful and large filigree basket with shiny diamond appliques.
The basket measure 8-1/2 i
nches (21.5 cm) long, 6-3/4 inches (17 cm) wide, and 7-3/4 inches (19.5 cm) tall with handle.  Weight: 14.7 ounces (417 grams).  It is hallmarked underneath with a lion facing left (possibly Bauske, Latvia) and the number 12, denoting 12 lothig for the silver content.  Elsewhere on the basket, where the handle attaches to the basket, it is hallmarked "12" again and "F.K" for the maker.  The basket is in very good condition.

Returns will only be given for items not as described in the listing and only upon return of the item in the same condition as it was when it left seller.  I pack my items very well as you can see from my feedback.  However, I have no control over the item once it leaves my possession, that is why insurance and tracking is recommended.  Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of the items, I cannot offer replacements.
