VERY NICE AND UNUSUAL ANTIQUE SILVER JEWELRY BOX.
Indian, circa late 19th - early 20th century.
Figural finial in form of elephant.
Fine quality hand chased decoration on silver - animals in jungle motif, very nice details.
Very good original antique condition with minimum amount of normal age wear and light expected handling marks. No repairs.
Unmarked.
HAS BEEN ACID TESTED, GUARANTEED SOLID SILVER, 900/1000 SILVER STANDARD (slightly lower than sterling).
Dimensions:  3 3/4 x 2 3/4 x 3 1/4 in. (including figural finial) / 9.5 x 7 x 8.3 cm.
Silver weight is about 5.9 troy oz. (184 grams).
