Description
This seems to be an early 20th century Dutch sterling hallmark and the silver purity is .833. According to appraisers, but I don’t know if the information is accurate:-The W indicates the date of production was 1906
-The Minerva head indicates the township or city that it was created in (there should be a tiny letter stamped into the head also, I couldn’t quite discern it in the images)
-The Lion Passant stamp with the number 2 beneath it indicates the purity of .833
-And the fourth stamp is the maker’s mark, which isn’t very legible, and I was unable to determine the exact manufacturer after searching through hundreds of examples of Dutch silver maker's marks - it could be that this particular maker was not very prolific, or was lesser known, and thus not very well documented.
