Amazing, antique Dutch hallmarked, repousse solid silver tea box
with a rural scenery - dancing people
Finely crafted
Inside is gold plated
Dutch hallmarks (Lion with crown = Dutch silver guaratnee mark, Province Holland,  "N" with crown can be the brand "Neresheimer Hanau", "L" with crown = unknown, guess it is the silversmith)
No monograms or engravings
Dimensions:  3 3/8" in diameter and 2 3/8" high
Weight: 7.1 oz
ca. 1890s
Dutch silver is 833/1000 to 935/1000
(Province Holland mostly produced in 935 silver, but I'm not sure if this item is 935)
Very good antique condition

It is getting harder and harder to still find vintage and antique, beautiful silver items, especially with silver prices being what they are.
Too many beautiful things getting torched and melted.  Sad!
I do not polish vintage Silver items, as I have found out that the majority of buyers, prefer patina .
