Antique Dutch silver tea caddy spoon. Unique fiddle shaped bowl, decorated with engraved floral form accents The ornate handle features a scrolling design with openwork and engraved accents. Hallmarked with the lion passant for .833 silver purity and date letter for 1870. Maker's mark appears to be that of Jan Schijfsma, 1844-1883. In good condition with general surface wear. Measures 3 1/2", weighs 16 grams.
