Antique Austrian Silver Tea Set Modernist Design Schneider Franz Vienna circa 1903-1915. This is an absolutely timeless design, clearly Franz was performing ahead of his time. The pitcher woth hinger lid is 4 1/2" tall to the top of the knob and weighs 207.3 grams. The creamer is 3 3/4" tall and weighs 160.7 grams and the sugar dish is just over 1 1/2" tall and weighs 99.8 grams. Each piece has the makers stamp "F.S." the Austrian silver head stamp and each handle or knob is stamped with 2 individual "A" stamps. This is a stunning set and I challenge you to find a better one! I am selling it as found with natural patina, I imagine if you want to polish it that it will come to a wonderful shine for you with some effort.
