Description
Over the years I have spent a lot of time rebasing armies from one standard to the next. From square bases to round, to bigger bases etc. Hands down these are the best solution around for anyone who finds that they need to upgrade their current based miniatures from a 25mm round base to 32mm round base. Your old base just snaps on top of the old base and the fit is tight that glue is only needed for a permanent solution. Also, because the bottom of your 25mm base is covered completely, it is a snap to just pop in a magnet or additional weight between the adapter and the base. Why Premium quality? First, my 3D printed bases use a higher grade PLA element which has a melting point well over 200 degrees F. Much higher than standard PLA which can melt down if you leave your mini's in a car or are exposed to heat. Second, most 3D printers use an infill setting at 25% which determines how much material to use when printing the sides of your base (25% means there will be small spaces so the sides will be somewhat hollow and thus lighter). My bases are printed at 100% infill so they are completely solid.
This auction is for 25 (twenty five) 3D printed from PLA+ base adapters. The adapters come unprimed or painted. Shipping is free within the continental US. Discounts are applied for bulk purchases.
Miniatures in the pictures are only shown as examples as to the functionality of the product and are not part of the listing. The bases used in that example were primed twice with Rustoleum Satin Black and then toned down with one shot of anti-shine varnish for an incredible look. All of my current paint jobs for 32mm models are now done on 25mm bases and use this adapter because of the ease in use.
I do quality check my prints to ensure they are top quality but, like all products, some of the items may require sanding or some element of clean up before use.
Color of bases will vary over time. I focus on black or grey but will also use others like silver or copper colors depending on which premium PLA filament I have on hand at the time.
