    C2319. [Yugostavia, Croatia, Jugoslavia]. Circa 1968 4 x 6 chrome postcard showing The Church of St. Blaise.
    The Church of St. Blaise is a Baroque church in Dubrovnik and one of the city's major sights. Saint Blaise, identified by medieval Slavs with the pagan god Veles, is the patron saint of the city of Dubrovnik and formerly the protector of the independent Republic of Ragusa. CONDITION: Mailed circa 1968 from Kopari, but date is partially indistinct. Franked with 2 different Marshall Tito Jugoslavia stamps (issued in 1967). Corner bumps, minor soiling and age tanning
